We are a group of young IT experts that teamed up in
an effort to share our knowledge, experience and products
in order to help the other people all over the world facing
the same problem - digital plagiarism.
Historically, our members used to work in higher educational
establishments all over the country. Though our core field
was mainstream English, our group worked and is still working
on the R&D of the IT sphere in our University. We have
a number of successful projects we are working at. The biggest
one is the T-Net Framework Complex - automated
knowledge assessment system that will soon be available
on-line.
In the course of our work process - due to the extremely
big work load onto a separate tutor, we faced an issue of
automating the defense against students' World Wide Web
copy-paste practice. In an attempt to find the solution
to satisfy both sides - the students of our university and
the teachers we have launched a project that resulted in
creating this product - Plagiarism-Detector.
We followed attentively the 'Turn
It In' legal issue and created Plagiarism-Detector
according to the students' demands - we have made our product
compliant to the requirement 'not to store' the students
works, we have selected the model of 'one time investment'
- to avoid the risk of being accused in using the students'
works for gaining profit. In this way we created a solution
to use with zero legal issues and maximum positive effect. |
